18 CFX Members Officially Obtain Digital Financial Asset Trader License

Jakarta, 25 March 2025 – PT Central Finansial X (CFX) is pleased to announce that two of its members, PT Upbit Exchange Indonesia (Upbit) and PT Multikripto Exchange Indonesia (KoinSayang), have officially been granted Digital Financial Asset Trader or Pedagang Aset Keuangan Digital (PAKD) license by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Upbit received its approval letter on March 17, 2025, and KoinSayang on March 19, 2025.

CFX President Director, Subani, expressed his satisfaction with the achievement of these two members in securing the PAKD licenses. With these additions, 18 CFX member crypto asset traders have now obtained official PAKD licenses from the OJK.

“The increasing number of CFX members holding PAKD licenses will positively impact Indonesia’s crypto asset ecosystem. These licenses demonstrate the traders’ commitment to regulatory compliance, particularly in implementing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) measures. This step is crucial for fostering a secure, transparent, and investor-focused crypto asset environment,” Subani stated in Jakarta on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Subani further noted that the growing number of OJK-licensed PAKD traders will stimulate healthy competition within the sector. This competition, he explained, will motivate traders to enhance their service offerings for crypto asset investors and ultimately improve transaction security.

Beyond benefiting investors, this competitive landscape among the 18 PAKD-licensed members will drive the crypto asset industry towards greater quality and integrity. Subani also anticipates that the OJK will continue to issue PAKD licenses, ensuring that all 31 CFX members are licensed.

“CFX remains committed to supporting its members in meeting OJK’s requirements and obtaining PAKD licenses. As of March 25, 2025, CFX comprises 31 member crypto asset traders,” Subani concluded.
