Discovering the Potential of the Indonesian Crypto Asset Industry with the CFX Exchange

The cryptocurrency asset industry in Indonesia is currently undergoing extraordinary development following regulatory strengthening, particularly the P2SK Law 2023, which mandates the formation of a complete ecosystem (exchange, clearing, and custodian). Growth is proven to be high, with the value of crypto assets rising 25% since the start of 2025, and the transaction volume from June to July reaching Rp 50 trillion. The role of institutions is increasingly recognized, especially after the issuance of POJK No. 27 of 2024, which now permits local institutions to participate in crypto asset trading.

Although popular among Gen Z and Millennials, the President Director of PT Central Finansial X (CFX), Subani, warns that the digital financial asset literacy index is still low. The main priority is to boost the inclusion and adoption of crypto assets through strong education. The public must understand the risks and is obliged to apply the principle of "Do Your Own Research" (DYOR) so that market growth aligns with responsible investment knowledge.
